Premier Environmental Services is seeking a senior level Civil Engineer for their southern California office. As a key member of the design team, the selected candidate’s primary duty will be to develop plans and specifications for a new California rail project. Minimum requirements for the position include: a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a California P.E. license, 15 years or more of civil engineering experience in transportation project design, design experience on rail projects and familiarity with California rail design requirements. The position also requires a team player with excellent communications skills and a positive attitude.  Experience in rail alignment projects is preferred. Premier offers a highly competitive salary and excellent benefits. Selected candidates must be able to start work within two weeks of hire. Candidates will be required to pass a drug test and background investigation.

Premier Environmental Services is seeking a staff-level environmental professional for its Jackson, MS area office. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geosciences, environmental science or related and a minimum of five (5) years experience in environmental consulting. Qualified candidates will have experience executing and managing industrial hygiene, indoor air quality (IAQ), asbestos, mold and related projects. Preferred candidates will also have experience in site assessments, subsurface investigations or regulatory compliance. Other qualifications include: excellent oral and written communications skills, a strong work ethic and a positive “can do” attitude. Business development skills and relationships with local or regional clients would be a strong plus. Duties will include: performing standard environmental project tasks such as: field assessments and investigations, building material surveys, IH monitoring, soil, water and chemical sampling, report research and preparation, etc. Management of tasks and projects will also be required.
