EHS Services Staff

Joseph Ricker, Senior Engineer

Expertise: Management of environmental remediation, environmental investigations, and long-term operation and maintenance activities at CERCLA, RCRA, and other hazardous waste sites.

Mr. Ricker is a registered professional engineer who provides technical expertise in Premier's Memphis office. He has developed ambient air monitoring programs, site investigation work plans, long-term monitoring and maintenance programs, groundwater monitoring programs, and air dispersion analysis models. Mr. Ricker has provided technical support for natural attenuation projects and managed operations and maintenance for groundwater treatment plants. He previously developed a method to evaluate groundwater contaminant plume stability that was highlighted by EPA Region IV as a RCRA Showcase Pilot.

Dedra McGhee, Industrial Hygiene Manager

Expertise: Ms. McGhee has over 9 years of comprehensive technical experience in the environmental health and safety field performing indoor air quality studies, industrial hygiene surveys, environmental compliance audits, employee training, respiratory protection and accident investigations. Specific areas of expertise include conducting industrial hygiene and environmental studies relating to occupational safety and risk management and performing audits for public, private, commercial and industrial facilities for environmental hazards. Experience includes designing and directing indoor air quality investigations and exposure assessments, overseeing asbestos, mold and lead based paint related projects.

Prior to joining Premier, Ms. McGhee served as a Senior Project manager for a national consulting firm. In this capacity she gained extensive experience contracting with, managing projects for and training public housing authorities. She has managed environmental remediation and demolition of several low rise public housing apartment complexes located in the Atlanta area.

James Callender, Senior Compliance Specialist

Expertise: Mr. Callender is a Senior Compliance Specialist. Prior to joining PREMO Mr. Callender was the Manager of Environmental Services for a Fortune 500 company. Mr. Callender possesses in-depth working knowledge of Federal, and many State and Local, environmental regulations. He is well versed in the development of environmental management systems and has extensive experience in ISO 14001 auditing and program development.

Amanda Jarvis, EHS Compliance Specialist

Expertise: Ms. Jarvis is an Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Specialist for PREMO. She has over seventeen years experience in the environmental field, the last seven years as an Environmental Health and Safety consultant. Her specific expertise includes: on site environmental health and safety services; hazardous waste identification, management and reduction; EHS program development and training (e.g. Contingency, RCRA/DOT/State Specific Training, Haz Com, Machine Guarding, Transportation Security, etc.); regulatory research; environmental permit review and submittal; regulatory agency liaison; facility environmental compliance; environmental auditing and corrective action plan development; regulatory reporting (e.g. EPCRA 302, 311/312, 313, Hazardous Waste (Biennial), Massachusetts Form S and Toxic Use Reduction, air emission inventory, etc.); and flammable and combustible liquid storage and handling compliance. Ms. Jarvis is a professional member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE) and a certified Massachusetts General Practice Toxic Use Reduction (TUR) Planner. Ms. Jarvis works with various clients to develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health and safety programs.
