Litigation Support

Premier Environmental Services provides technical support to law firms by collecting and analyzing environmental data related to environmental claims and by providing litigation support services, including expert testimony. Premier understand the sensitivities involved in legal proceedings, including confidentiality, thoroughness, completeness, and organization. We further understand that our representations must be fully defensible by counsel and, therefore, tailor language and maintain records accordingly.

Examples of Premier's litigation and testimonial support services and qualifications include senior professionals with extensive deposition experience and the technical experience to function as testifying or consulting experts and professionals with experience in developing the technical strategy in consultation with legal counsel, assisting in the selection of and preparation of expert witnesses, and cross-examination of the opponent's experts. Premier also has experience in the following areas:

  • Allocating project liability and costs among multiple responsible parties, experience
  • Compiling and analyzing historical evidence and generating the necessary questions for discovery purposes
  • Determining and evaluating the technical merits and consistency of claims, and methodologies to cases involving regulatory programs such as CERCLA, Clean Water Act, RCRA, OSHA, and numerous state programs
  • Tracking analytical records and documents generated from discovery through trial proceedings

Premier's environmental litigation team members understand that they must be sensitive to the varying degrees of technical sophistication among opposing counsels, judges and juries. Our technical can assist an attorney understanding of the technical issues that arise with depositions and courtroom testimony. Premier's expert testimony often includes visual aids, including computer animation, to present technical findings clearly and effectively.
